Petal Pizzazz

Color Challenge at SPCC

Layout Challenge at PPA

I guess it is really and truly spring!!!All my posts seem to be flowers!  This is a card i created for the challenges above. It was difficult for me to use these colors as I don't usually tend to go toward brights=).

Stamp Sets: Petal Pizzazz and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Accessories:  Scallop Square Punch,1-1/4 and1-3/8circle punches, modern label and word window punches, scallop trim border and scallop edge punches, brocade blue eyelet, sahara sand paper(dsp from pattern pack, too),and a yellow square brad (from the square fire collection)

I stamped my flower image 3 times on whisper white cs.(2x in yoyo yellow and once in brocade blue) I then circle puched them out, layered them to opposite next size circle punch and then to same color punched scallop square.  I pierced a hole through each flowers center then added brads(as pictured). Through the bottom flower i added some glorios green leaves(hand cut out) and a modern label punch with the saying "just for you"  from the teeny tiny wishes set.  This fits perfectly into the word window punch as do all the sayings from that set! I used sahara sand ink and background stamped a different flower image from petal pizzazz, adhered a strip of scalloped edged sahara sand cs and a scalloped trim edge of the sahara dsp,  I pop-dotted my square layered flowers down the right side of my card. Hope you like!

  1. I like how you've toned down the color combo with your neutral. Such a happy spring card! Thanks for playing with us at SPCC!

  5. The "tone on tone" looks wonderful. The DSP of the same shade on top ... tres' chic.

  6. Hi Kris. You left a comment on my blog for the Royal Blog Tour post, saying you subscribed and added me to your blog list. But there wasn't a return email address, so I googled your blog. If you go back to my blog and post another comment with your email address, I will be sure to let you know if you win the candy.
