Stamp Sets:Define Your Life,Tropical Party and Sweet Scoops
Just Add Ink
Tempting turquoise, rich razzleberry, kiwi kiss and white
Accessories: Bird punch,1-1/4"circle,ittybitty punch(flower),scallop-edge punch,white gel pen,shaving cream,polka dot impressions folder,scallop oval punch
I have had this thought(gazing ball) in my head for awhile now...hmmm along with so many others;)). I love PPA and all their inspiring ideas. This challenge was SUMMER! Nothing screams summer to me like sun, birds and flowers!
For the gazing ball, I used the shaving cream technique, with turquoise and razzleberry re-inkers. I also outlined my bird with turquoise pen on the ball(after drying) so that the bird was looking at its reflection.
For the pedestal I used my cone from sweet scoops tuned upside down. I used my fronds from tropical party to make grass and added some little wildflowers in razzleberry from the itty bitty punch. I used my white gel pen to highlight the flowers as well as parts of my turquoise punched bird. The birds wing is embossed with the polka dot folder. I used the edge of scallop oval punch as a mask for my clouds. I used my markers to color in my definition and attached that to a scalloped-edge piece of razzleberry cs. All are on a whisper white card.

Stamp Set: In A Word
Srapmaster's Paradise Color Challenge
Accessories: Lg Oval Punch, 3/4"circle punch, Cog Punch, white gel pen, Island Oasis DSP
Wow! Remember Me? I have been absent from my posting world for two weeks! I am hoping now that my son(s) baseball seasons are over, that I will be back on track! That is unless the beach calls me too often ;)) Fittingly, I have titled my card for my absence and hopeful that I will not have too much of a gap in posting ever again >:| Although with summer at the end of the week and the beach at the end of the road-who knows?? =D I saw the sketch challenge over at Just Add Ink and thought to go with it! I was wanting to try a flower that I saw on our SU! showcase(sorry I tried to go back and find the specific creator but there are absolutely toooo many awesome ideas on there to find it:( specifically ).So, I'm hoping that my version is ok:) I think that the original creator used cs and rounded the flower to give it a more 3-d appearance, but I just loved this dotted DSP- so fun!
I added the piece of melon mambo on top of choc chip. Then on to my thought...I stamped "remember" in choc chip on a piece of white cs. I colored in the me part only with my choc marker and stamped on one of the circle scraps the "me'. I attached layers as shown
Until Next Thought~
