Gazing Ball
Stamp Sets:Define Your Life,Tropical Party and Sweet Scoops
Colors: Compliments of Just Add Ink
Tempting turquoise, rich razzleberry, kiwi kiss and white
Accessories: Bird punch,1-1/4"circle,ittybitty punch(flower),scallop-edge punch,white gel pen,shaving cream,polka dot impressions folder,scallop oval punch
I have had this thought(gazing ball) in my head for awhile now...hmmm along with so many others;)). I love PPA and all their inspiring ideas. This challenge was SUMMER! Nothing screams summer to me like sun, birds and flowers!
For the gazing ball, I used the shaving cream technique, with turquoise and razzleberry re-inkers. I also outlined my bird with turquoise pen on the ball(after drying) so that the bird was looking at its reflection.
For the pedestal I used my cone from sweet scoops tuned upside down. I used my fronds from tropical party to make grass and added some little wildflowers in razzleberry from the itty bitty punch. I used my white gel pen to highlight the flowers as well as parts of my turquoise punched bird. The birds wing is embossed with the polka dot folder. I used the edge of scallop oval punch as a mask for my clouds. I used my markers to color in my definition and attached that to a scalloped-edge piece of razzleberry cs. All are on a whisper white card.
Until Next Thought~Kris
