Entry for PPA35
This is a wall canvas that I made to show off the cool Decor Elements from Stampin Up'!
I first spray painted an artist canvas with a blue that I liked. I allowed to dry(of course!) and then applied my decor elements as given in the directions!! So easy!! Transportable and beautiful, too!
I couldn't decide so I posted 2 entries!!!!

MOM
Stamp Set:Messages for Mom
Colors:
Accessories:DSP from Sweet Pea pack, white gel pen and mat pack,lg(1 3/8") and small(1 1/4") square punches, corner rounder, chocolate chip taffeta ribbon
This card is of course for my mom! It has a dual purpose though,of course;). It fulfills two challenges!! The first is the color challenge over at Scrapmaster's Paradise and the other is the layout challenge-a new one for me!-at Mojo Monday. For this card I started with my base layer card in the really rust. I found a piece of DSP in the sweet pea DSP pack that had some the colors that were in Scrapmaster's color challenge. I borrowed this set from my sister-she doesn't know that yet because she is in Florida.LOL. Thanks Karol;). I stamped the individual letters MOM on pretty in pink card stock and punched out with my smaller square punch. I then layered them on chocolate chip squares that were punched from the large square punch. I stamped the flower image from the set on a piece of whisper white cs and colored in with pretty in pink, really rust, and mellow moss markers. For the largest center flower i added some white to its center with the white gel pen. I layered this ona piece of pretty in pink card stock, tied chocolate chip ribbon down the left side and adhered to another piece of DSP. I used my mat pack to create sew holes around the image and white gel pen to give the appearance of white thread. I then adhered the" M O M" to the right side. Hope you like the finished product!

Stamp on your DSP!
This is a card I created for a layout challenge at Pals Paper Arts
and I am using the colors from the color challenge at Picture Perfect Creations. I am shocked on this one(LOL) I will be doing it ahead of the due date-I so usually procrastinate!
Stamp Sets: Inspired By Nature
Colors:
Accessories: Sweet Pea DSP pack, Scallop Trim Border,So saffron Eyelets, 1",1-1/4"and1-3/8"circle punches
I just love all these patterns from the DSP papers pack!! I was curious how it would look if I stamped on the DSP and so I had to try it!
I inked my image from inspired by nature with markers to add all the colors(with added mellow moss;/) and stamped on my DSP. What do you think? I just LOVED it!
I stamped it off to the right side so that I could enjoy the prettiness of my DSP also. I attached to my eggplant layer. I attached a scalloped trim piece of the eggplant, another layer of that cool DSP,and layered circles over the corners of my image layer. Simple, easy, love it!!Hope you do to!!

White Chocolate Bunny
This is a card I created for two challenges. The first is the color challenge over at Picture Perfect Creations
and my layout challenge goes to Stamping 411!!!
Stamp Sets: Chocolate Bunny,Baroque Motifs,Animal Crackers, and Happy Everything
Accesories: Big Shot,Pattern2 Shelli texturz Plate,Sweet Pea DSP,Vanilla Craft Ink, Clear Embossing Powder,Heat Tool,White Gel Pen,Scallop Edge, Scallop Circle, White Jumbo Grommet
On to the card~
The color challenge call for white!! And i'm not sure about you but i Love white chocolate,so I wanted my bunny to be a white chocolate bunny! I stamped him in vanilla craft ink. I think it gave it enough contrast to make it look like white chocolate? I embossed it with clear embossing powder and cut him out.
I attached him with pop dots to a textured panel of not quite navy. I attached this to a confetti white panel which I made 1/2"larger so that I could score it and tuck it under an inside panel.
Then I folded it over the front of the card, tucking it under a scallop circle flower that I made using the a white scalloped circle with a lavender center and a jumbo grommet.
I stamped the baroque image on the lavender card front and outlined some of the swirls with my white gel pen. I added a scalloped edge of DSP from the sweet peas pack~

First Holy Communion Card
This is a card I made for my sons First Holy Communion. I used the circle punch on textured white paper to crate the host. I used the seeing spots classy brass template behind the host to give it an "aura"
I used gold embossed paper and created cup with the wide oval punch, word window, and small oval punches. Attached cup to naturals ivory paper(ticket corner punch) on a silver layer on base natural ivory card. The ribbon was some I happened to come by in a close-out store. Scalloped edge on card front. Quick, Easy, Classic!
Also, I have done this as a wine glass. Use window sheets and a little "wine" made from bravo burgandy-Real cool!

This was a quick card I made for my great neighbor who has a snow-plowing jeep. He helped us out so many times this winter! I am in the southest part of New Jersey, along the coast and we RARELY recieve snow. This winter was quite the exception!! Cab for jeep is hand drawn and the plow is part of the lg oval punch. Snow is 3 flowers from trio flower punch. DSP from sweet pea.(leftover from my previous post;)) Dusty durango and bermuda bay.

Country Morning
This is my card for two blog challenges! These challenges are a great place for some stampin' motivation! I am always looking for some motivation;)
My thought on this card was 1st inspired for the color challenge over at Scrapmaster's ParadiseI have to admit, this was really a challenge for me!! I tend to stick to "cutesy" and these colors don't scream "cutesy" to me. So these colors screamed rooster to me! Now on to the layout in which I got the inspiration for at Stamping 411. It looks like this:
So here's what I used:
Stamp Sets:(Hostess)Country Morning
Colors:Soft Suede,DustyDurango, Bashful Blue, Watercolor Paper-White
Accessories:Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper,1/2 in soft suede polka dot ribbon,polka dot impressions folder,crystal effects,vintage brad,1 3/8in square punch,aqua painter,perfect details texturz plate,Snail Adhesive,glue dote,1/2"circle punch
On to the card:I used a dusty durango card base.I made a few panels approx 2x3 in"-1 suede 1-bashful blue and a few from the sweet pea DSP pack. One of the dsp's I trimmed to layer on my blue the other I left as is. I also made a smaller coordinating dsp of about 2x2 1/2 inches. Another soft suede square of 1 3/4". I water colored my staz-on stamped image from country morning on water color paper. I also ran my larger soft suede through texturz plate just to add some dimension to my suede. I did not have any durango ribbon(Oh no!) so *think, think* a strip of DSP it is! I made a faux ribbon and faux button to add to my strip of DSP. I ran a strip of durango through the polka dot textrz plate then folded to make it look like a ribbon=)
I wrapped a piece of suede polka dot ribbon around and added a faux button to it. To make your button I punch a 1/2" circle in DSP
I then add crystal effects over that circle and allow to dry=)))Attach with a glue dot to your faux bow!
Added a piece of soft suede held with a vintage brad on my top layer. Attach all panels like layout challenge!!

5th Avenue Floral
This is the card I created for the challenge at: Picture Perfect Creations
Then gently dab your pearl with your colored pastel:
Next heat set with your heat tool. This is how the finished pearl will look!*Notice my shades in the back! Must be real bright and shiny that I had to keep them handy to view my creation!LOL
Adhere your pearl to ribbon and attach ribbon around last panel, and adhere to black panel.
For my center flower, I stamped image in black staz-on ink. I then watercolored using ink and blender pen. I then painted over image with my frost white shimmer paint, cut out image(after dry) and adhered to my card front using pop dots.
Hope you enjoyed:))
What a pretty color combo! On to my thought on this combo:
Stamp Set: 5th Avenue Floral
Colors: Rose Red, bashful Blue, Black and White
Accessories: Frost White Shimmer Paint,5/8" Black Satin Ribbon, 1/2 Pearl from Pretties Kit, Clear Embossing Powder, Pastels, Versa Mark, blender pen, paint brush, heat tool, eyelet or paper-piercing tool, glue dots, pop dots and Snail Adhesive
I stamped the black and rose red flowers on whisper white cs. I cut into 4 rectangles to fit on my black cs layer, trimming so that about 1/4 in smaller on horizontal and vertical lengths. Adhere 3 stamped panel to black panel, except bottom right corner. Take black satin ribbon and do a couple of "folds". I adhere these so they stay down with glue dots. This seems to work best with the satin ribbon :) .I then took my 1/2 pearl and thought he needed a little color! So onto coloring a pearl technique:
Take your glue dots and kiss to the end of your paper piercing tool or eyelet tool:
Next adhere your pearl to the glue dot on tool:Next, add some color!!! This can be done a couple of ways. You can use craft ink directly to your pearl(I did not have any bashful blue craft ink). So therefore, I came up with an alternate method ;/ . Completely cover your pearl in versa mark ink:Stamp Set: 5th Avenue Floral
Colors: Rose Red, bashful Blue, Black and White
Accessories: Frost White Shimmer Paint,5/8" Black Satin Ribbon, 1/2 Pearl from Pretties Kit, Clear Embossing Powder, Pastels, Versa Mark, blender pen, paint brush, heat tool, eyelet or paper-piercing tool, glue dots, pop dots and Snail Adhesive
