Happy Mothers Day and it's AWASH (2) too!

Happy Mothers Day to all the mommys!!
Thought:
This is a really cool technique I have to share with you!
Did you know that you could emboss with our framelits dies?
Well how about making your embossing really stand out?
This was another card that we did this month with the Awash with Flowers set.
I love pink and brown together!
For this card front I use a piece of chocolate chip cs (4-1/4"x5-1/2"). I used a framelit template to mask a section of my chocolate cs.

I versamarked with my flower stamp and then heat embossed with our melon mambo embossing powder.(I did one with the Awash with Flowers set and on with the Mixed Bunch set)

Now to the next step:
You have a couple options here.
1. You can emboss with an embossing folder (such as the lattice shown)o
2. Or you can leave your card stock smooth:)

Using your BigShot make the following sandwich:
Tab 1
clear acrylic plate
silicone pad
card stock to be embossed
framelit-cut side UP!
a scrap piece of vanilla or white cs
clear acrylic plate
This will emboss your card stock.
To add the watermark, place your smooth side of framelit directly in versamark pad and ink all around

waaalaaa!

Pretty cool, huh?
Add a flower and the 'happy mothers day' stamped in mambo on a layered modern label punch.  If you need to know how to layer this please check this post:label layering
I used a couple variations of the blossom punch flower and a scallop flower:
My friend Kim taught me this one;)
Snip the scallop and fold back folds.
I layered it on the blossom punch.
And this one is a basic blossom embossed in the vintage wallpaper folder:
Embellished with an in-color brad :)

Finish!!
Finish!!
Hope you enjoy this technique and have a wonderful mothers day (for the mommys reading this) or take time to love your mommy this day!

Until Next Thought,

Kris
