Thought:...One more Stocking Card
Are you getting sick of them yet? 'Cuz I do have some more ideas for this stocking ;))
So for this card I used rich razzleberry card stok as my base with a layer of whisper white then, wild wasabi card stock. The wasabi was ran through my big shot and our new letterpress plate "Festive finishes" which is available in our holiday mini. I used versamark ink and sponged with a little platinum shimmer paint.
I stamped 2 stockings in razzleberry ink with the snowflake stocking image in our 'Stitched Stocking' stamp set. I punched those 2 images out with our 'stocking builder' punch. Using my mat pack I evenly placed some holes for my laces. The laces were white bakers twine colored with razzleberry ink.I laced thru the holes and tied in a bow at the top. My origanal thought was to have them hanging from the branch but I did not make my laces long enough, so I just improvised ;)
I added a little of our dazzling details on the snowflakes for a little 'bling'!
The skate blades are actually the branch from out bird builder punch!! I punched out the branch in our silver glimmer paper. I trimmed the leaves off. Using some of the scraps, I made the thin attachments for the blades. I don't know-do they have a name??
Attach as shown ;))
I added a little tag with some scraps at the bottom with my modern label punch, word window punch and the sentiment from our 'Got Treats' stamp set.
Finished ;))
Until Next Thought,
Kris
