Santa and Snowman Pillow Boxes |
These are so cute and soooooo easy to make!
For Santa I used real red card stock and ran through my Big Shot and the pillow box die to create my pillow box. For Santas beard and brim I used the large scallop square die cut in whisper white cs,folded over at 10 scallops. I sponged a little bashful blue around the edges to give him a little depth=) His face is punched from the wide oval punch in very vanilla,as is his nose, which is the 1/2" small circle punch. I sponged both of these with pretty in pink. Santa's stache is 2 petals from the 5petal flower punch. Add wiggle eyes and pompom!
For Snowman I used whisper white and the pillow box die, also;). His hat is in basic black,I believe I used a 2' square(not sure off the top of my head;) For his brim I used 2 modern label punches. I cut 1 in half and layered behind the other. I used the small oval for the leaf and punched edges with my circle punch to give the effect of a holly leaf. I used real red to make the berries, punching them out of my circle from the trio pack punches. The heart smile is hand drawn with the small heart punch. Basic black coal eyes are also a 1/2" circle punch and the carrot nose is from the five petal flower punch(*Hint: if you are making multiple of these punch a 3/4" circle on your pumpkin pie card stock, leave enough room to punch your five petal flower around. Using your five petal flower, line up in the center of your circle and punch-5instant carrot noses!
Enjoy these cute little pillow boxes-they are the perfect size for a little something;)
Until Next Thought~
